Maldron Hotel Parnell Square

Nice hotel with horrible customer service. They were not friendly or helpful.

We loved this hotel. It was so clean and new, and the location worked out really well for us. It's on the north side of the Liffey, which makes it a bit of a walk from most of the tourist attractions, but it really wasn't bad. We enjoyed being a bit removed from the busier part of the city, and the store was located right near a couple grocery stores which helped us save money on food. The best part of the hotel, though, was the staff. They were so friendly and helpful, offering to make reservations at restaurants for us, giving us directions, and just bending over backwards to make our stay great. Very pleasant, clean, new hotel. Staff was outstanding. Facilities across the board were great. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from Temple Bar, etc. but well worth it. The neighborhood (north of the Liffey) can be questionable late at night and morning on a Friday and Saturday but nothing especially scary or sketchy. ...read more

The staff are not friendly or helpful, and the rooms are substandard. It's in a dodgy part of town as well.

Quite, clean room, friendly staff, excellent location for Dublin site seeing.

Newer and more chic than we'd expected for the star rating. The room was small but well appointed, with a nice king-sized bed and a nice bathroom with tub. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
